"Silberdistel" ceramics are manufactured in handmade for over 100 years. In 2005 the brand was sold and has been manufactured since this time in our factory in Rheinsberg near Berlin. All products are handmade and comply with all major standards for use as decorative.

There are around 150 different forms in 3 decors (Iceland, Sahara and Korall) available. What is special about the "Silberdistel" ceramics ? These are the beautiful effect glazes. Through a special glaze injection procedure were several different colored glazes superimposed applied. These run into each other to produce a beautiful effect.

Decor Iceland: glitter effect, color green

Decor Korall: Flash effect, color red

Decor Sahara: sandy color effect

After the glaze process the products are burned at over 1040 degrees Celsius. All items for use with water are suitable (for example, vases) with an additional special glaze sealed.

Please note that all items are unique unicums, they look similar, but they are not identical.
